St John's College Oxford Classics Essay Winner!

Congratulations to Anoushka in Year 12 who won the St John's College Oxford Classics essay writing competition. Her essay 'Does ancient literature equate might with right?' was the winner in a large and extremely competitive field. 

Anoushka was invited to the Classics and Ancient History Subject Exploration Day in Oxford with the other entrants where she had a tour of the College, Bodleian Library, sample lectures and question and answer sessions with students and tutors. Anoushka wasn't told that she had won until the day, so it was a lovely end to the visit to walk away with the prize!
