A Level Results 2022
We are delighted to announce that our 2022 cohort have achieved a superb set of A Level results, a true reflection of their hard work and determination through the disruption to their education over the past three years.
Very nearly half of the results achieved this year were A* and A, with the average grade achieved a B+. A quarter of students have been awarded straight A*/A grades, with ten students each achieving three or more A* grades. Most importantly, the vast majority of students achieved the grades required to progress to their desired university and apprenticeship places, with students leaving us to study at, amongst other places: Imperial College, UCL, UKC, Bristol, Nottingham, the Royal Veterinary College, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester, Bath, Exeter, Queen Mary’s, and five off to Oxbridge colleges. A number of students will be taking Foundation years, particularly in Art, and others will commence gap years, some having already secured places for 2023.
We are immensely proud of this year group; these A Levels are the first public examinations they have sat following the cancellation of their GCSE in 2020. They then experienced a first year of study heavily disrupted by lockdowns and self-isolations. They have faced up to, and overcome, these challenges with tenacity and determination. We congratulate all of them and wish them the very best for the future.
