Celebrating Success
Written by Mr Mason

A massive congratulations to Francesca in Year 12 for being only one of seven students to achieve the highly commended accolade from a prestigious Classics competition.

The competition title was ‘What artefact interests me most, and why?’. Francesca chose the head of the Roman emperor Augustus found in southern Egypt/northern Sudan and gave an 11 minute online presentation explaining about the significance of this artefact and why this an important discovery.

Francesca was ably assisted by Raffy in Year 12 who helped in the research element of this academically challenging task. Well done both!
