John Downton Awards

A huge congratulations to Edie, Eve, Ella and Shantih, for having their artwork shortlisted for this year's John Downton Awards, taking place on 7th December from 5.00pm at County Hall, Maidstone ME14 1XQ. Well done!!!

The John Downton Award for Young Artists is an annual exhibition which encourages and celebrates the creativity of Kent's young artists. It is open to students aged 11 to 18 from schools and colleges across Kent.

The exhibition commemorates the life and work of John Downton, the celebrated Kent artist, poet and philosopher.

Well done to you all and many thanks to all of you who entered.
