Textiles - International Day 2023

Year 7 students had the opportunity to work in the textiles department as part of the International Day on 17th October.

Students learnt how the Maasai and Dassanech Tribes have adapted their trade to create upcycled jewellery using waste and found items.

Year 7 then created their own upcycled jewellery using donated beads and fabric using techniques inspired by African tribes.
