KS3 - Religious Education

Choose a subject

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that.” J.S Mill

The Religious Education curriculum emphasises ambitious exploration of different perspectives on religious, philosophical and ethical topics. The syllabus teaches students the different perspectives and equips them with the tools to think critically and intelligently about them.

We begin with a knowledge driven examination of the six major world religions, facilitating breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding. We build on this foundation by exploring Philosophy and Ethics to further develop analytical skills, extended writing and capacity for philosophical argumentation. Our curriculum encourages students to become creative in their problem solving, ambitious in their thinking, independent in their minds and confident in themselves.
