Ranger Outpost Software Needs Updating!

Ranger Outpost software, the program that students use to access their files from home, will be updated on Friday 13 January 2012 and new files will need to be downloaded and installed on home computers for the program to continue to work from this date.

The updated files are available to download from Moodle > Miscellaneous > Ranger Outpost: http://vle.langton.kent.sch.uk/moodle/course/view.php?id=508

New users of the software should also download and install these files in order to gain access to their school files.

Once installed, Ranger Outpost will require users to enter their school network username and password before presenting a file manager window which will enable them to copy and paste documents from their home computer to their school network account and/or vice versa.

A copy of the Ranger Outpost Instruction Manual is also accessible from Moodle along with more detailed instructions on the installation process.
