Every student at Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School in Canterbury has reason to celebrate this summer with all girls having achieved at least five A*-C passes in their GCSEs including a 100% success rate in Maths and English. Just under 70% of students also achieved at least five A*/A passes.

An even bigger cause for celebration for 34 girls in the year group was finding nothing but A*/A passes in their envelopes and many students had reason to feel proud with 71% achieving at least one A* grade.
Anna Nichols Pike put in a star performance achieving 11 A*/A passes while a further 32 students achieved 10 A*/A passes.

Deputy Headteacher, Mr Isaac Taylor, was delighted: “We’re so happy for all of our exceptional students. They should feel very proud of their achievements. They have worked hard and their hard work as been richly rewarded. We're particularly pleased to see that 65% of all GCSEs passes were A*/A which is up from 49% last year.”
